Jason's friends, Tim and Kim, visited us in Germany and we took a road trip to Italy. It was a 10 hour car ride with the babies, who did surprisingly well. It was a long road trip followed by an extremely hot day in Venice. We drove all Friday night right after Jason got off work and got in after midnight. We stayed in a cheap hotel and the next morning took the train to Venice which was about 10 minutes away. We walked and walked for what seems like forever. Up and down stairs with the double stroller was no easy task. We all took turns bearing that load. The babies were cranky, we were snappy, hot and thirsty. We still had a good time, nonetheless. We just stayed there that Saturday afternoon and drove back that evening, driving through Switzerland, Austria, & Liechtenstein, on the way back home to Germany. Sounds weird... "home" to Germany..

Cody is here for another month and looking forward to it. It's been great having my little brother visit and help me out with unpacking and watching the babies. Don't know what I'd do without him here! More to come in the months, starting up Zumba here soon, taking on a new board position with PWOC, starting up college courses again, and continuing to unpack and organize our home... still much to do! Love the busy life, love taking care of my babies who are discovering more things every day. We are working to incorporate the Lord into our daily lives a lot more.. we are praying with the babies every time before we eat.. holding their hands and bowing our heads.I'm hoping to get through the rest of this HEAT without an a/c all summer! ahhh!
Toodles!
