Relay for Cancer Awareness

This weekend, we participated in the Cancer Awareness Relay Event (C.A.R.E.) at Camp Walker. It's an all-night team relay. We had a team of 12 and the rules were that one person has to stay on the track at all times. Each lap is counted. We did this in honor and memory of loved once who were diagnosed with cancer. We had some great people on our team and really enjoyed our time together, walking/running for those who we remembered and love. Each of us walked/ran for an hour each. It was from 6pm to 8am the next morning.

Oh, and to explain our team name, we stuck with the Band of Brothers logo, and used "Bulgogi" because it's a Korean food... same thing with Yakimandu. It's also a Korean food. It's only funny if you get it!! :)

The babies were bundled up in their stroller for a few hours during the night. After that, our nice neighbors, The Gordons, took them home to sleep.
