The kids at their church school. They memorize Bible verses every week. They absolutely love going!
Remember how my last ten blog post practically kept saying the same thing: "Things are still fine here, and I hope to give you news on Jason comes home in the next post." ??? Well It's finally here. The first news we will have in a long set of news. To make more sense, we finally have a date for Jason to come to the states for an appointment for his hip surgery! Let me refresh for those who don't know what I'm talking about.
Jason is still stuck in Germany, right? He wasn't scheduled to come home until he gets out of the Army- next November 2013 :( But then he found out that he needs hip surgery and he was referred to Walter Reed Medical Center. So with that news, we were hoping that he might get to come back to the states to live with us sooner than next year!
Well after months and months of waiting on just one darn appointment with his surgeon, we finally have a date that he will have to fly from Germany to Maryland where the hospital is to have a consultation and hopefully get an actual surgery date.
We won't really get to see each other even though he'll be just a few hours away! He's only going to be stateside for a few days and we won't have time to see each other. We are just happy the process is moving along. We are hoping that the Army will let him recover here with us in Kansas and not have to go back to Germany. We shall see! We are just praying that God will make a way for us to be together as a family again.
The kids wanted this book about daddys that deploy
We made this picture for Jason's birthday since we couldn't be with him.
The kids were in a commercial for a pumpkin patch out here! They got to milk a fake cow.
Gardening :)
Ready for church

Yay yay yay!!!!! I'm so happy for you! I've been praying that the Lord move things along and bring Jason home soon. And I'll continue praying for you that the Army won't stall after this appointment and will continue to move things along.
thanks Ash!
